1. What do you think is/should be the relationship between Title IX protections and academic freedom? Are the two in tension, mutually exclusive, mutually inclusive?
2. What steps do you take to protect yourself from student complaints, whether in the form of Title IX accusations, bias incident reports, or other kinds of grievances?
3. What are some sensitive topics you’ve discussed in music courses, and how have you approached them so as to maximize learning while minimizing negative student reactions?
