Black Music History Library


A digital library/bibliography of resources about Black Music History from the 18thC to the present. Resources are organized by genre and chronologically, and are at a variety of reading levels; includes books, articles, documentaries, series, podcasts, and more. A great feature of this site is that Black authors and highly recommend sources are marked. When freely available online, the sources are linked through this site; otherwise, sources can be found through institutional libraries and databases.
